Newcastle United manager Sam Allardyce is confident Nigerian Obafemi Martins will soon find his scoring touch again.
The 22-year-old Nigeria international recently missed glorious chances to score against West Ham, in the Premier League, and Arsenal in the League Cup.
However, Allardyce, is positive Martins will fill the void in his side left by an injured Michael Owen.
"Oba was disappointed with the last two games - but chances come and go and strikers score some and miss some."At least he was there to miss them - but what Oba cannot do is let this get him down," Allardyce said.
"I told him he did great getting the ball past the keeper at Arsenal just after they scored, but then he didn't hit it hard enough and the defender got his shot off the line.
"It was a shame for us and a pity for him because, for the next couple of days, he is going to think it was all his fault.
"But he cannot do that. This is a team game and we are all in this together," Allardyce added.
