Tigers tracking Okocha and Folan

Hull boss Phil Brown has revealed his interest in midfielder Jay-Jay Okocha and Wigan striker Caleb Folan.

Former Nigeria international Okocha, 34, has been playing for Qatar SC since his release by Bolton last summer.

Folan, 24, has started nine Premier League games since joining Wigan from Chesterfield for £500,000 in January.

"Caleb has appeared on our radar, but it's a case of Wigan doing their business before we can do ours," Brown told BBC Radio Humberside.

"Jay-Jay's obviously in the transfer market at the moment - I've had a couple of conversations with him.

"That's as far as it's gone, but we'd certainly be interested in him if he was affordable."

Okocha announced his retirement from international football after the African Cup of Nations in February 2006, but was recalled to the Nigeria squad later that year after they suffered injury problems.

Hull play Folan's club Wigan in a Carling Cup tie on Tuesday.
