Defenders Jamie Carragher and Sami Hyypia look set to miss the second leg of Liverpool's Champions League qualifier with Toulouse on Tuesday.
Hyypia suffered a suspected broken nose against Sunderland, and Carragher a possible broken rib in the 2-0 win.
Reds boss Rafael Benitez said: "Sami lost the vision in his left eye and may well have broken his nose.
"Jamie is in a lot of pain and I'm not sure if either will be involved against Toulouse. We'll wait and see."
Reds captain Steven Gerrard is another possible absentee for the Toulouse game after the England midfielder missed Saturday's win with a broken toe.
Liverpool won the first leg 1-0 against the French side two weeks ago thanks to a goal from Andriy Voronin.
